Many people complain of that annoying message received when open some web pages: "Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site. Operation aborted."
Even http://mail.google.com/mail may cause it. You can use this link to test if your IE has this bug.
This error message makes a lot of people to change their browsers to FireFox.
This is one of the biggest MicroSoft bugs!
There are two types of solutions: for web designers and for users.
My solution is for User side:
It is very simple:
Just DISABLE SKYPE Add-ons in Internet Explorer.
How to do this:
IE menu Tools --> Manage add-ons --> select Skype add-ons and click on Disable radiobutton!
See the previous post about addons disabling.

IE - "This window is busy..." error message
I have received this message trying to open a web page in new window.
First IE could not open the page in new window when I hold 'Shift' key.
I used right mouse button - open in new window.
This caused all IE pages to freeze.
The last page become blank and when tried to close, I received this message:
"This window is busy. Closing this window may cause some problems"
It was hard to close Internet Explorer pages even with Task Manager /ALT+CTRL+DEL./
I have bad experience with Skype add-ons /see the next post/, so in blank IE window click on Tools menu
Then choose 'Manage add-ons' submenu.

Then reload Internet Explorer.
This resolved my problem - pages are opened in new window without error messages.
